The intellectual effects of Muslim historians in the ninth century AH/fifteenth century AD on sub-Saharan Africa

The study of the intellectual effects of historians in the life of the nation acquires special importance by following up on the facts and events and recording their phenomena and developments. The study of these monuments gives us a picture of the development of the historical methodology of the stage in which it was written. It is also the product of a new stage in the life of the nation in that period, such as: Ibn Khaldun (d. 808 AH / 1405 AD) in his book Al-Abra, and Al-Qalqashandi, (d. 821 AH / 1418 AD) in his book Subh Al-Asha and Al-Maqrizi (d. 845 AH / 1441 AD) in his book Al-Muawa’at and Al-I’tibar, as well as Ibn Taghri Bardi, (d. 874 AH / 1469 AD) in his book The Shining Stars shows us the necessity of studying the quality of distinguished historical products in their era, as well as the news of kingdoms and countries that extend south of the Egyptian homeland, including (Nubia, Mali, Sudan, Abyssinia and other)
