Classification and Components of Austin's Speech Act Theory
A lot of theories are proposed in the field of Pragmatics which attracted the interest of linguists, philosophers and psychologists. But the start of this history is unquestionably with Austin's Speech Act Theory (ASAT). The aim of this study is to view this theory and to explore Austin's Classification of Speech Acts and the components of this theory.
